Yesterday I taught a 90 year old how to paint. There were other thingsthat happended but that 90 year old was so happy, it gave me hope for my future.

Today Saturday, I taught teens how to blow glass

When the piece is completed, it has to be taken off the pipe and put in a kiln to cool down to room temperature. The student in the silver suit is caughting the work which is about 1000 F at this time. Its a nice outfit. Heat protection.

Right Now I am pricing work for the Pratt Fine Art Holiday sale. These glass will be for sale on 20th.

Today was not the most productive day for the making of stuff.  I did go to see Amanda’s work. Meet a couple that owns my old camera, losr my keys, coughed a lot and now to bed with me.

Looking at the heron painting I know it is not done. Looking at my room, I know it is a mess, thinking of my life, I think I am glad I am ….me.

The objective of the exercise is to not think, just respone, to scribble rather than analyze.

The class was awesome, everyone improved and it made me happy.

I am going to return to the Blue Heron painting now.

photo (1)so it was 4 am and I had coughed myself awake. Its not that I’m sick, its just the weather, the mold and the rains of Seattle. So it was 4 am and I brought some pencils and water color to bed. I thought of the blue heron I took an image of while in BC. The bird inching his way into the plant life with fall leafs. The image was taken with my old phone.Sorry

Today I worked with Donna, Meg, and Lydia teaching Veterns how to blow glass for 4 hours, Then the night class and my great returning students.  Now I am home, so I will return to this little drawing for an hour or 2. I feel I have so much work to do on everything and I am so behind.
